FROM KATHY’S DIARY

6:30 am – WOKE UP
Today I woke up at 6:30 am, which is very early for me, especially since it is Saturday! I hurried to get dressed and have breakfast, kiss mum and dad and run out the door.

8–11 am – SWIMMING LESSONS
Joe and his sister Fanny were already waiting for me in the car with their dad. Mr Jones drove us to the swimming pool where we practise. We are all three on the same team and swim practice is from 8 am to 11 am.

11:30–12 am – CLEANING THE BEDROOM
When we returned home, I ran upstairs to tidy up my room.
Saturday is better for cleaning because Sunday is busy too, because friends and family come to visit.

12:30–15 pm – GRANDMA’S LUNCH
Today there wasn’t time to clean very well because I was going to grandma’s house for lunch. When I arrived, I saw that grandma was very worried. Her cat, Mr FuFu, was up in a tree and couldn’t come down! It was not a problem because I am really very good at climbing trees. Soon Mr FuFu was a happy cat sleeping in his favourite armchair in grandma’s living room!

AND THEN...
I spent the rest of the day playing frisbee with my friends, shopping with my mum and doing homework. Now I am very happy to go to bed!
